This is amazing! I love how the wolf by the end is not a monster to be feared but a creature in need of help. You writing honestly gave me chills.

The sword feels heavy in my hand as sweat trickles down my forehead. I let out a labored breath. My mission is complete. I did what I was called to this land for. I remove the helmet from my head, placing it on the ground, before taking a seat, pondering. Never in my life did I think I would be standing where I am today. I never would have guessed I would spend my life striking down enemies twice, sometimes three times my size. Enemies who were stronger than I have ever been or will ever be. I have been praised for my countless, unexpected victories. They praise me based on my human abilities. What no one knows is, I did not manage these victories on my own. They are the victories of the one behind me. The one who gives me all the strength I will ever possibly need.

This is such a cool way to picture the story. You did such a good job of telling so much about the character is such a small section!

The fog filled my lungs as I took a painful breath. The puncture in my side gushed, and I’m pretty sure I broke some ribs. My limp was not helping as I struggled up the mountain, blinded by sweat and fog. Still I climbed. I knew my time was short, but I was not going to show the enemy my failing strength.

“Who are you?” The minuscule creature’s voice rang out into the inky midnight. I simply gazed at her apathetically, wondering how a woman that small could hold enough bravery to challenge me.
