ABOUT HER:I grew up on a family farm in Minnesota, where I developed a taste for fantasy novels and adventures in the woods alongside my four siblings. After graduating from the University of Northwestern St. Paul with a bachelor’s in Visual Narrative, I moved across the country to work on animated shows and feature films in LA. I am currently a script coordinator in the writers’ room at Warner Bros. Animation on the much-anticipated adaptation of the bestselling middle-grade fantasy books Wings of Fire.
My short fiction has been featured on the Havok Story Podcast and in Havok Season Four Anthology: Sensational!, and also by Bear Publications in Beatitudes and Woes: A Speculative Fiction Anthology. My middle-grade novel Smorloc & Me was a semifinalist for the Mountain Brook Fire Speculative Fiction Award. FAVORITE GENRE TO WRITE: Middle-grade fantasy and steampunk are my favorites! FAVORITE BOOK: Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie |
